Can I solder bridge these two thermistors?

Sorry if my question is a little confusing. In doing a fan repair I had the clip to a ribbon cable connecting the disc reader to the motherboard break off two thermistors and now the ps4 works but doesn’t think there’s discs in it even tho I can hear it spinning the disc. I have tried and failed to replace them from a donor board because they’re so tiny and I can’t stop shaking trying to get the piece on. Can I just put a solder jump between these two points in the ps4 or will that break something else? Right now it at least functions as a digital only console

Update: It looks like I might be looking for a needle in a haystack here. Considering how small it is, I feel like I might need a machine to solder it on for me; however what I can do is just attempt a jump anyways and see if it'll read disks. Since it's so tiny I'm feeling more like I'll just end up buying a new SAB-001 motherboard anyways, or use this as a donor for a MB that's easier to repair. The only thing it seems like it wont do is run the disk laser, because I can hear the disk spinning, I can confirm it's not the disk with multiple working disks, and the game will eject and insert. No issues arise anywhere else. This section of the MB is connected to the ribbon cable that's attached to the disk reader. If I attempt the jump I'll update with the results for anyone in the future who has this issue.

Hi!!

Do you still have that other motherboard?

I would try a continuity test. As long as this happens on the good motherboard, you can try to bridge them. If not, then I'm pretty sure the component need to be on the motherboard and that you cannot bridge the connections.

If you do not have the other motherboard, you can try to bridge it and see what happens.. It's a gamble anyway, but if you are planning to replace the motherboard, the test is worth it!

Please let us know how it goes, hopefully bridging it will solve it! If not.. then oh well, I recommend to replace the motherboard and keep the broken motherboard for parts, as you said earlier.

Please let us know how it goes and good luck!
