Black display after water exposiure
After my phone was exposed to rain, initially a purple dot appeared, which then spread into blue and eventually turned black within 2 days. I handed it over to a mobile expert who first changed the display, but it didn't work. They then replaced the IC, but the issue still persists. When the display is blue, I can see something, and all the functionality works well. However, after it turns black, nothing is visible on the display. When I plug it in for charging, it vibrates, the fingerprint sensor works, and I can hear the screen unlock sounds, but the display remains blank.

Hi @okie97667,
Did the "expert" say that they cleaned any and all traces of water or corrosion from the systemboard, before replacing the screen?
Check if the LDI is indicating that water has entered the phone and report back.
