Display not turning on, keyboard blinks and fans turn on for few sec

Specificatons:

Ram:8GB DDR4

Processor: Intel i5

GPU: NVIDIA 1050Ti 4gb

I have cleaned my laptop recently by removing the back cover. I cleaned its internal parts .After reassembling ,the laptop started having issue. The issue were:

1.Display wouldn't turn on.

2.Cooling fans would turn on and off for few seconds.

3.Keyboard would blink multiple time depending how i used to on it.

4.Overall the laptop would not boot up.

When i tried to install ram on second slot, the keyboard would stay on but no display.

I have tried connecting it to HDMI ,tried to boot up bios software but no solution. Please help with my problem.

Hi @adityakirloskar ,

Did you disconnect the battery from the motherboard, before you started cleaning all the internal parts?

i don't think so

@adityakirloskar

Leaving the battery connected when cleaning the internal components may have damaged them.

You should always disconnect the battery first before doing anything inside a laptop.

Did you remove/replace the ram module when you were cleaning the laptop?

You said that you tried to install the ram in the 2nd slot, how many ram modules were initially installed? If just the one module then maybe it was damaged IF you removed/reinserted it with the battery connected but this is just a guess at this stage.

If you have another ram module maybe try it and check if it works. Remember to disconnect the battery before you remove and reinsert the memory and only reconnect it after you've finished working inside the laptop.

Yes, l had removed the ram along with the harddisk while i was cleaning the internal components of the laptop.

I have only 1 8gb ram of ddr4 spec. The laptop has 2 slots for the ram.

I don't have another ram module , but i will manage to get it some how if possible.

Thanks for your advice.
