You should make use of the browser version of youtube. It allows for a slightly lower level alternative.

okay the reason behind the incompatibility is an outdated Android version. The Oppo A37 runs on Android 5.1 which is quite old. with that the newer versions of YouTube app may no longer support this version. possible solutions to the problem try this;
- install an older version of YouTube app via third party APK sites
- give a try to YouTube Go which is considered a lighter version of the app
- lastly use YouTube in a browser instead of an installed app

Have you tried updating the phone's system software in the phone, you didn't say?
Go to Settings → Software update. Ensure that the phone is online when trying this.
If the phone's software is the latest version, then unfortunately you may have to revert back to the previous YouTube app that did work.

i have same problem, then i realize it's cause by full memory and storage.
apps need storage to save it, but need much memory to run.
