BSOD on new build

BUILD:

i5 13600k CPU 13th Gen

Asus ROG STRIX B760-I GAMING WIFI

MSI MPG B760I Edge WiFi Gaming Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 5600MHZ CL36 RAM

Lexar 32GB DDR5 RAM 6400MT

Onboard video

NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti

M.2 SSD

ISSUE:

These BSOD error almost always point to driver issues but the BSOD error occur during Windows installation (before any drivers being installed). The few times I get passed the installation process it crashes during Windows setup process.

Things I've done:

Upgraded the BIOS on both motherboards

Tried different RAM (listed above)

Tried another SSD (new)

Tried with or without graphics card

Tried another power supply

Tried another motherboard (Listed above, using same processor)

Tried installing WINDOWS 8,10, 11 (same results)

Could it be the CPU? I ran the INTEL diagnostic tool and it passed. Incompatible RAM with CPU or MOBO? I'm lost here, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @cascara,

Can you get into BIOS and navigate through the menus OK without crashing?

What are the wattages of the PSUs that you tried?

Try downloading and running this free program and check if it works OK. It's not that I think that the ram is the problem but this is a standalone program that doesn't rely on Windows to be loaded so that it can run.

Also try running a "live' version of any Linux OS, from a USB drive and see how that goes. You don't have to install it on the SSD just trial it from the USB

Just trying to eliminate things.

Hello! It's like you have a ram issue, Try to use ram from the list of manufacturer, for your Asus is here

https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-st...

also it's posible to have a defective ram stick, if you have a set of 2 try one every time.

One more solution is to make a bootable usb from here to check the ram for errors
