Do you still hear sound when the TV is on but the screen is black?
If you can hear sound, try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the screen and check if you can see any images at all.
They will be very faint so try this in a darkened room to help see them if they are there.
If you can see images on the screen using a flashlight, then there's a backlight problem with the screen, either the TV backlight LEDs or the power supply perhaps.
If there is no sound either then it may be a power board or mainboard problem. Is the TV still turning on i.e. power LED changes colour?
