Is it possible to fix Bluetooth cable

So my controller keeps disconnecting from the console so I opened it up and played with the connectors. Once I slightly pressed on the black cable the controller combo fine then loses it once I let go. I tried to tighten the connection but still no good. When I unplugged it to think the controller connected and works without the black cable. So now I’m wondering if there is a way to fix the cable to stay on deeper or is it ok to leave it disconnected?

Turn the cable over and inspect under magnification to determine if it can be "fixed" or tightened up a little (needle nose pliers, gentle squeezes). Judging from the picture the connector on the mobo looks fine.

I did this but I wasn’t sure what to look for exactly. If the pin needs to make contact with the center then it does look like it might be pushed in to deep to make contact. But I was able to tighten it but still needed to be pressed down. Found a way to keep it pressed but now the disc drive gives me unsupported disc error lol.

Yeah correct the pin goes in the center. But it's the outer ring that is supposed to keep the connection firm. There should be a tiny click sound/feeling in the outer ring locked into place like it should. It's just like snap buttons on pants or shirts or what have you.

Oh lame, Unsupported disc. My personal PS5 (purchased new but only around 4 or so months ago) was doing this odd thing where if I left a disc in it and shut it off, the next time I powered it on it said "Unsupported Disc". If I removed the disc and put it back in it worked fine. A couple of firmware updates back fixed it.

Try the usual stuff. (Sounds lame but a lot of people made this mistake) Make sure the disc isn't being inserted upside down. IPA clean the laser lens. Double check cable insertions. Good luck!

Thanks a lot, I get it to snap and stay on tight but still stopped working. I got a band aid solution but I did try an update but console was up to date so I cleaned the laser, restored the console, started it in safe mode cleared cache and whatever other options in safe mode but no luck. Might be the laser because it says “unsupported by ps5” when a game is in but if I put a blu ray movie in, it shows the movie picture and title but when I go to play it I get an error message that says “something went wrong” with CE-110558-0 in the corner
