Why is my laptop not charging or turning on

Check that the charger is supplying 19.5V DC at the plug on the end of its output cable.

If the charger is OK, then it may be a problem with the DC-In jack in the laptop.

Here's a video that shows how to change the DC-In jack. It is helpful as it shows how to access the jack so that you can test whether it is faulty or not.

If the jack is faulty i.e. no voltage when measuring between the red and black wires on the internal cable plug connected to the jack - or with the power disconnected, using an Ohmmeter to test the continuity of the +ve and -ve wires from the jack input to the jack output, search online for 0ND3N8 to find suppliers that suit you best.

If the jack is OK then there's a problem on the motherboard and the motherboard schematics would be needed to find out where it is. What is the motherboard's board number, as printed on the board itself?
