Why are the screws on the bottom not pentolobe

i have an iPhone 4 but I'm wondering why the screws on the bottom are not pentlobe there just regular screws is this normal or added later

as far I I know this could have been added later and it’s quite normal

If you look on the 1st page of the is iFixit guide it says the same thing
