Slow power gets very laggy really slow

Having a cracked digitizer (touchscreen) may not help with using the tablet.

Try wiping the cache partition and check if that improves performance.

Here's the procedure:

Turn off the tablet if it is on. Wait until it vibrates or rings to ensure that it is off.

Press and hold the Power button and the Vol. Up button at the same time until the recovery menu options appear and then release the buttons.

Use the Vol. Up and Vol. Down buttons to navigate through the menu options to the Wipe Cache partition entry.

Press the Power button to select and then follow the prompts.

Once the tablet has restarted etc, check performance.

Note : Do not select Wipe data/factory restore as this will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the tablet to its factory default condition. If you do accidentally factory restore the tablet, if it has a Google account tied to the tablet you will need to know the account user ID and password so as to be able to access the tablet after the factory restore due to the FRP lock (factory restore protection) that has been enabled by the reset.
