I get F23 code on my kenmore elite dryer. Code means thermistor needs replacement. I replaced it and i still get the same error code. Should i replace the whole heater assembly ?
model number is 110.C87892601

Hi,
An F23 code could also mean that there is some other problem with the outlet thermistor circuit i.e. control board or thermistor harness wiring and not just a faulty thermistor
Here’s the tech sheet for the dryer.
On p.7 Test #4a it details how to check if the outlet thermistor circuit is OK

i did everything, asked above. It worked for 3 cycles the the flashing pf23 code returned. this is very annoying.
