50 Cycle Batter, 1350 Days, 29% Design Capacity 1900mAH - Bad Battery?
I bought this battery back in 2018 from iFixit to try to replace a service battery warning on my mac. I don’t think the warning ever went away but the battery lasted longer than my original battery which was 7 years old at that point. I should’ve requested a replacement but I think the time for that has long been past. I went to view the battery product page and noticed they had a warning saying some people had issues with the aftermarket battery on certain OS versions.
My question is if my battery has those stats in the title would upgrading my OS do anything? Or is this just a crap battery I have? Note: I have also tried resetting SMC & recalibrating the battery.

From a cycle or days count your battery should still be good. OS updates don't really matter from a function stand point, what does effect things is the upgrade process is often quite heavy so a weak battery can often fail during the process as the stress does you in.
Let's see what CoconutBattery tells us.

@danj Thanks for the response. I have included the snapshots from CoconutBattery in an edit to the original post.

A side note. My AC adaptor cord is quite frayed. I was reading a different forum post and someone said that after replacing the adaptor they saw the warning go away. So maybe I will try that too. Not sure if it would not be too late if the battery is already reporting 30% of it's original capacity.
