Why are there blank pages being printed with new ink cartridges?

I have installed new ink cartridges in my Kodak esp 3.2 printer. When running a test print, the first time only green showed up on the printed paper. I ran a calibration test and ran the cleaning of the print head then did a print test again and the paper came out blank. I repeated the process multiple times and got blank pieces of paper every time. Now it says my ink levels are at 75% but nothing has even been printed to use that much ink. I even manually cleaned the print head and it still didn’t work. Any ideas?

Hello Shauna b

You probably have not used your printer for a long time or it is in a relatively warm place and the printer head is closed by dried ink.

Use good quality ink and clean the head several times through the device menu several times and repeat it. Sometimes you have to replace the printer head.

Inkjet printers may not be right for you, and you may want to get a laser printer. Because inkjet printers need to work regularly to keep the nozzles and heads clean .

Thank you for your response. I have used warm water to try and loosen up the printer head but it isn't working for me for some reason. I did try and clean the head several times through the device menu like you suggested and nothing came out of it. Kodak no longer manufactures this type of printer, so they don't provide any support. Do you know where I can get a replacement printer head?

Hello

But You should never touch the heads. You should contact the after-sales service department for repairs and replacement. They usually replace the head and /or the interface hoses. You may be able to use other companies to replace these parts .You have to search. Start the search from the where you bought the cartridges but the cost of these replacements will probably be equal to the cost of the inkjet printer .

Also I guess that you did not use the original cartridges because this printer is out of service.

The use of old or non-original inks or cartridges that fill by hand due to the low fluidity of the ink can sometimes exacerbate this problem in the long run and damage the head.
