Touch screen and volume only work 20% of the time
On my 2014 Altima SL the volume and the touch screen the changes my radio stations and operates my nav system only works 20% of the time. At times my volume will turn up 5 to 10 mins after i try to turn it up

Does the volume change normally every time, if you use the steering wheel Volume buttons?

No it is the same problem

I don't know the answer but the steering wheel buttons connect to the AV/Nav control unit, so since they're not working properly either it may be that the problem is in the unit itself.

I have to agree with jayeff. If the volume control on the unit isn't working properly, and the ones on the wheel do the same thing, I strongly suspect the unit itself may be the problem
