I think my MacBook Pro's battery was swelling?
I have a MacBook Pro mid 2015 Retina 15" and some months ago realized it's battery must have been swelling after reading cases on this site. I thought that my external device cable connectors were somehow blocking the screen from closing properly. What a nut? So I instinctively, instead of always keeping it running and just putting it to sleep at night, when I do the same, I started 3 months ago to power down nightly. The swelling subsided immediately and still is. Is my MacBook Pro's battery out of harms way, or should I be concerned?

I just ran a hardware Diagnostics (cmd-D) upon start-up and got the reference done: ADP000, which clears any notion of hardware issues...

@ernest27james - The onboard diagnostics doesn't check batteries. You would need to install this gem of an app! CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see Aggiungere immagini ad una domanda
Frankly, its not safe running your system in this state if the case is distorted!
