maytag dryer I need a service or repair maunl

Some info that may be of some help.

According to this supplier on the dryer’s cover sheet there is a part number W10638708. (Scroll down the document page to find the number in the bottom right corner of the page. The dryer model number is in the top left corner of the page).

The part number is for the Repair Part List - W10638708 - Rev A.

Looking in the parts list there doesn’t seem to be a tech sheet or a service manual for the dryer, only a wiring diagram - part #8576803.

Online there are plenty of references to the wiring part number by parts suppliers as it is the same one used for a lot of dryer makes and models, Kenmore and Maytag to name just a few, but no one has any in stock or none that I looked at anyway. They all state “call for availability”.

I did find this link though, which may help. Scroll down to reply #5 by dab147315 on January 05, 2016 and there is a link to the wiring diagram. However you have to register with the website to download it.

Maybe it’s worth signing up to get it.

Have you checked that it is not in a plastic sleeve attached to the inside of the dryer between the drum and the cabinet as usually this is where tech sheets and wiring diagrams are kept in washers and dryers?
