STEP 9-STEP 9-you left out the hardest part. I have spent 1hr trying to remove the motor compartment panel. There has to be a trick to it! But why ? Why ? Not put it in!!!! arggggg!!!

nm1hart that is a question we cannot answer. You would have to ask the person that wrote the guide. This guide was created by a community member and not the iFixit staff. Leave a comment with the guide you are referring to.
Of course you can post pictures with your QUESTION showing where you are stuck and what it is that you cannot remove etc. Maybe we can assist you with the repair.
