I dropped my dual shock for in a spa bucket full of water and lotion with soap and perfume. I dont reall have to tools to take it apart and my mom cant really afford to by me a new one till christmas and I am a streamer and love gaming I need all the help I can get do I soak it in rice let it dry? Your my only hope right now..

After that, you will have to disassemble it. Use the guides for that DualShock 4 CUH-ZCT2 Once it is all disassembled, you will need to clean the parts with some 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. That cleans off the water as well as other liquids that got spilled on it. Something like this guide Riparazione danno da liquidi iPhone shows you how to clean properly. Even so it was written for an iPhone, all steps are still pertinent to your controller as well. Once you have it properly cleaned, replace the battery, reassemble and finally re-evaluate.
