Can I upgrade my laptop with 8 GB Ram and 250 GB SSD or 500gb SSD

The short answer is yes to the ram and SSD but no to the M.2 SSD

You can install up to 16GB (2 x 8GB) of DDR3L 1600 PC3-12800 SODIMM ram.

You can install a 2.5” sata SSD in a caddy (supplier example only) to increase the storage, but you will have to lose the ODD (optical disc drive) to do this. Also if you install a sata 3 SSD it will only operate at sata 1 speeds because this is the speed of the ODD sata port. The HDD port is sata 3

There is no M.2 slot in the laptop.
