Endless blue loading screen, then black screen

I have no idea what to do with that. My laptop used to bsod with errors related to memory, so I tested it with memtest and got over 400 errors. I did not pay attention to it at first because it still worked and I did not have any time to change the RAM. A month ago, it BSODed again, but this time it did not turn on and did this (I linked a youtube video below). Today, I added 8 gb of RAM (because I can’t replace it as lenovo had a genius idea of installing their RAM into the motherboard with it being impossible to replace it). I still run into the same problem, so I figured the problem is not in the RAM. Despite the loading screen, I can still use the mouse and the keyboard and was even able to extract some really important files off the hardrive because the desktop and the explorer still work. So, I don’t know, what can I do. Formatting the drive is not really an option because there is A LOT of important info on there. Any ideas?

Do a RAM test without the module and pray it isn't the soldered RAM. If it passes 3+ runs no problem, hope it’s an SSD issue. If you see errors on the soldered RAM, you'll need a new motherboard. The good news is only part of the RAM is soldered, so it can be repaired if the soldered RAM isn't bad. Just be glad they didn’t solder it all down because Lenovo is notorious for doing it on a lot of the Yoga series - both the 11/13” models have soldered RAM. I have a very close friend who had a Yoga 11 4GB in high school her parents got her with 4GB of RAM. Once it's unusable, she has to replace the computer :-(! You bought the right one!

However if it's the SSD, you will need a NVMe drive to replace it. But in this scenario, you stand a chance at fixing the laptop since the SSD is modular and easily replaced with a open market part from any quality manufacturer. In terms of data recovery, what you can do is boot the laptop into Linux and try to see if the data is intact - or you can pull the drive and put it in a SSD enclosure which is NVMe compatible.

Booting into linux is genius, thanks! I will do that first do back up all of my data. Yes, I ran memtest with only the soldered ram and it looks like it's done. I am going to see what I can do about it, thanks for the answer!
