Hi @onit ,
Usually a trim A/C off engine hot warning or similar wording means that the coolant in the engine is too hot and the engine is not able to cool properly and the air conditioning will be automatically shut off to reduce stress to the engine.
Have you checked the engine coolant level in the vehicle?
If the level is OK, what is the temperature gauge in the instrument panel showing, regarding the engine temperature?
