Recently, my touch pad has been getting very hot and the touch pad I have to hard press it to get it to register the click, it’s not stuck, it just won’t register with a click, you have to press very hard for it to register, when I move the trackpad, it works, but the clicks and It is hot.

one thing you can try is to open up the bottom of your laptop and remove the battery.
