Hi,

If you have Win 10 installed try repairing the startup using a Windows recovery USB disc.

A recovery disc can be created from any known working Win10 PC. You will need a 8GB USB flashdrive and 40-60 minutes of time.

In the host PC go to Control Panel > Recovery > Create a recovery disc and follow the prompts.

To get to Control panel, click on the Windows search box on the left side of the Taskbar and then type Control Panel in the search box. Click on the Control Panel app that appears in the results.

When you have the recovery disc, insert it into the laptop and when the laptop starts change the boot option order to boot from the USB port as the 1st option and restart the laptop.

If it doesn’t boot from the USB disc, go into BIOS and enable the Legacy USB (or CSM not sure re your model laptop) setting, save the changes and then restart the laptop.

It should boot into the Windows Recovery Environment menu.

Select Troubleshooting > Advanced > Startup repair and follow the prompts.

Do not select Reset this PC because if you choose the wrong option after this you could delete all your data as Windows will be reinstalled.

The difference to what is happening now is that the repair will be done using the files from the USB drive and not from the recovery partition in the laptop where they may have been corrupted which may be the cause of the problem.

It is a good idea to keep a USB recovery disc handy if needed in the future. Just remember to renew it every time a Win 10 Feature update is installed in the laptop to keep it current.

Also when you have the laptop working, go to Control Panel > Recovery > Configure System restore and configure system restore for the OS drive (usually the C drive). This way system restore points will be automatically created periodically which is another way to fix a PC when it won’t start properly by using a restore point to restore the PC to a point in time before the problem started.
