Why will my LG K8 phone not go into hard reset mode
I have tried to do the steps it says to follow to do a hard reset on my phone but the reboot screen won't show up. What do I do???

Are you using this method?
To clarify it a bit, when the LG logo appears release the Power button (while still holding Volume down), then press and hold the Power button again until the reset screen appears. When it appears release both buttons
Note: don’t let go of the Volume Down at all until the reset screen appears, only let go of the Power button

Problem can be sometimes is that it just does a boot loop, turning on showing the lg logo, turn off and then come back on and show lg logo…over and over
