I love this laptop dearly it was free and i replaced the keyboard hard drive and other things throughout the pc. But it will bog down every time i go to use it after using it previously. Thanks in advance.

Hi! joshua morgan it seems that your Battery is Defective. try to replace it or use a Multimeter to your Laptop Battery. using this guide. Come Usare Un Multimetro

as for performance, i would recommend keeping drivers updated and removing system bloat. a defrag will do wonders if you havent switched to an ssd. plus, if you're really ambitious, linux mint can be a nice lightweight os.
as for battery capacity, press f12 on boot and there is a self diagnostics mode which should show the remaining capacity of the battery. if its below say, 50%, id probably replace it

Hi @iphonehater1 , what does it mean "go to use it after using it previously"? What does "go dead so quickly" mean? Please, describe more your issue, what was the state before? What type "dead" issue? What did you do before it goes down?
