Why is the right side of tv dark?

@kobees this is possibly a bad backlight, a bad power supply that does not supply all lights properly or a bad connection. Worst case scenario would be a bad panel but this is not a typical sign of such. Vizio has had issues with cold solder joints on the connectors. Also make sure that you reset your TV. Unplug all video inputs, audio inputs etc. Then unplug the TV. Hold the power button for something like a minute. Then connect one video source only, preferable a local source like DVD/BR or game console. Then plug your TV in and try it out. LEt us know if that made a difference.

If it does not you will have to remove the back cover from your TV and have a close look at the boards and interconnect cables. Remove the cables and reseated them again. Post some good pictures of what your TV shows regarding the dark screen as well as your boards. That way we can see what you see. Post those pictures with your Question.

Tried t-Con board as that was the suggestion. Did not fix. However, main board solved the problem.
