Why is the screen not opening?

It makes the sound as if opening, there is the cursor but the screen remains grey.

Hi,

If you have Win 10 installed, try starting the laptop in safe mode (start at Step.2).

If the display works in safe mode go to Troubleshoot > Advanced > Startup repair and follow the prompts.

In safe mode Windows loads its own generic hardware drivers so it may be that since it works in safe mode there is a problem with the display adapter drivers for the laptop.
