Why USB Drive doesnt detect to play music?
I have bought Honda Pilot 2016 in very nice condition. when i try to listen music from USB drive it doesnt detect.
Please advise me???

Can you charge a phone using the appropriate “playing audio and/or charging” USB ports?
This is from the user manual on p.58
Models with color audio system:
The USB port is located inside the center console and is for playing audio and/or charging devices.
Models with touchscreen:
There are two USB ports in the front console: the left port is for playing audio; the right port is for playing audio and/or charging devices. An additional port* is located inside the center console. It can be used for playing audio and/or charging devices. There are additional ports* on the back of the center console that can be used for charging only .
*if equipped
If you cannot also charge a phone then check if fuse #14 USB charger, in engine compartment fuse box type A (see p.137) is OK. It may have been blown if someone had plugged in a faulty device.
A USB flashdrive needs power to operate ;-)

This is not the answer to the question: “Why does my 2016 Honda Pilot not detect my USB Flash Drive to play music?” Instead it answers: “Can you charge a phone using the appropriate “playing audio and/or charging” USB ports?”

Hi,
See the last sentence in the answer.
The answer addresses the question in that if there is no power on the USB port a flashdrive won't turn on and therefore cannot communicate with the USB controller in the entertainment system.
You need to prove if there is power first and then if there is move on as to why it doesn't work. Charging a phone is a simple and easy way to prove if there is power available as not all flashdrives have a LED light indicating that there is power.
