I broke the touch screen on my device, but can still see the screen. I tried connecting an OTG cable, but it didn’t connect, yet I can still charge my device. Is there any way to access my device so I can transfer data across or possibly download an app onto my phone so I can transfer data across???

The only real solution in this case is to either find a way to get the other cable to work. Replace the entire screen to get it to work again. Swap motherboards with another phone since these phones can be found sub $50. Or if you have a PC that you've previously trusted on the phone you can connect it to that pc and just move the data off of it.
