The usb charger port on the controller is damaged, I need a link to a teardown video and a source for the replacement part.

Hello Michael.
I have the same problem as you have and I can't find the correct part. I do know that it's a micro-A connector with a 5 pins, but I couldn't find a part number.
I did find a teardown video, the link is below.

I also have the same problem. I found out that you can still use the full size USB port on the bottom of the controller to connect to your phone but I haven’t determined if it can be charged there. I don’t have a male/male USB cable.

No, you can't charge the remote on the bottom USB port. I tried fixing the part myself and I couldn't. I tried buying the replacement bottom board but I was ripped off, paid for the part in China and never received it and they stole my money.
