The door handled snapped - everything else is fine

Coincidentally, the handles on my Kenmore washer and dryer broke within several days of each other. The dryer should be easy to deal with but I'm having a harder time figuring out how to fix the washer. All of the documents I've found show the door as a single unit and address the lock or hinge etc.

It works fine - i just need to grab the frame with my fingertips and it opens.

It's the plastic handle that snapped, not the lock or underlying piece or anything complicated (I think). What part or parts do I need to fix this?

Washer 110-42922200

It appears that a few pieces have been discontinued but *might* be part of the washer door assembly #8181811. Could this be right?

Thank you. The site keeps kicking this comment out as spam so I'm adding a filler line up from to try and fool it.

The model is:

110-42922200

Several parts have been discontinued but it *appears* that they might be part of an integrated washer door assembly - #8181811. Could this be the case? It would certainly make life easier.

Replace the Door Handle on a Kenmore Elite HE3 Dryer

Open the dryer door, then remove the door by removing the two screws that secure the door to the door jamb.

Place the door face down with the inside of the door facing up.

Remove the six screws from the inside portion of the door that secure the inner assembly to the outer assembly.

Separate the inner and outer frame, and remove the glass by simply lifting it out.

Remove the two screws securing the old door handle, then remove the handle.

Align the new door handle, then secure it with the screws that you removed from the old door handle.

Replace the glass, then reconnect the inner frame to the outer frame using the six screws that were removed.

Reinstall the door on the dryer by aligning the door hinge with the screws on the door jamb, then installing the screws.

What about the Washer? It seems like the handle is part of the larger outer frame. What part(s) do I need?
