Power Supply Message Appears Constantly on LG G5

After plugging my phone into my USB port on my computer I am constantly getting a message "use USB connection for:" This is running my battery down extremely fast and is constantly beeping with a new message. How can I get this to stop?

Hi,

When the notification appears drag down the status bar and select the USB connection option that you want to use when connected to a computer
