I am not getting suction to the canister when using the brushbar

Dyson Ball Animal

The Dyson Ball Animal was released early 2014, identified by model number DC 65. This Dyson vacuum was built off of the previous DC 41 model. The DC 65 model provides better suction power and the brushbar is 25% more powerful. It also is suitable for two more surfaces.

I am not getting suction to the canister when using the brushbar

When using the dyson animal vacuum in upright mode (not the pull out hose), I am not getting suction. When I utilize the hose which you pull out of the handle, I have suction.
