My phone is not showing network bar signal. Is the IC problem?

How to over come of the problem is the IC problem or network is not getting registered. where can i get this repaired.

Have you tried a different known working network compatible SIM card in the phone?

Have you tried the SIM card from your phone into a known working network compatible phone to prove that your SIM card works OK?

Basically swap the SIM cards between your phone and another network compatible phone and see what works or doesn't work where.
