Hi, Have you checked the 2 heater hoses that lead from the engine compartment through the firewall to see if they are connected properly and are OK, not split etc?
@kameraguy where did the water come from? If this water came from your cooling system, did you make sure that you replenished the system? A low coolant level can cause your heating system not to get the hot water it needs to work properly.
