replace a a1212 with an A1261
hello, I have a macbook pro with the logic board a1212 broken , I would like to know if i can replace it with a A1261 (to have such a powerful pc).

No sorry they are not cross compatible , for starters the screens are different a1212 uses CFL bulb , while the a1261 uses LED bulb.

A white screen usually indicates a failed hard dive. Try disconnecting the drive from the logic board and booting from the original system installation optical disk.

the screen remains white after power, and did not work any recovery procedure (pram reset etc.)
