Can you charge a lenovo tablet using the hdmi cable
My charge port is broken and I wondered if I could charge my tablet through a hdmi port as an alternative

No. That port is for video signals not charging.

Hi @muziq,
No. The answer above says it all. HDMI ports cannot charge the battery in any device. It is a video /audio signalling port only.
