I have a problem that the moment i load the graphics card drivers the screen goes into standby mode? I need to link an external screen to the laptop so I need this facility but without the correct drivers the computor wont see another screen.

I would get a Windows disk...May have got a disk with laptop...use it...if not get one for the Windows you are running on laptop..turn on computer...insert CD..after few seconds it will say on screen push any key to install..now you can either do a clean install which means it will be like New ...install and tell it to format hdd disk...then just let it run and follow directions when it tells you to push keys...but if u want stuff that's on computer...When you start CD...hit the repair Windows feature...u should be good to go from there..good luck
