Why isn’t my computer holding a charge
My computer works when the charger is plugged in but every time I disconnect the charger the laptop dies.

If your computer dies after you remove the charger that indicates that your battery is faulty. Batteries have an expected lifetime and overtime they will lose their ability to hold a charge. You will need to keep your charger plugged in for the meantime to use your device but your battery will need to be replaced .
