Why is my Zenfone volume so soft

Have set volume for all to Max already yet ringtone and notifications are hardly audible

Hi, Just wondering if you can adjust the volume up and down and it sounds OK if you use the 'loudspeaker' option on a phone call. This is the same speaker used for the ringtone and notification sounds.
