Itunes error 1 iPhone 5c

I am trying to restore iphone but every time i press the button on itunes a windows pops up in nearly 65-75% (error 1). After doing some research i found that may the baseband causes the problem. So my question is. Is there anyway to restore iphone without updating the baseband?

I fixed it by heating up baseband (under the sim tray) with a hairdryer.
