Why is my device not printing correctly?
When I try to print out a label, the label maker doesn't print correctly.

Check to make sure nothing is obstructing the printing area, then make sure your cassette inside the label maker is correctly aligned and pushed all the way down into the compartment. If problem persists, follow the link below to the troubleshooting page.

For others that have this issue, I was having the issue as well. For me, it was weak batteries causing the ribbon not to print/advance even though the winding motor was turning.
I tested all batteries with a battery tester! All batteries were well up into the green! Just for the heck of it I changed all the batteries! Voila! Problem solved, just as Dave stated. Funny how the unit needs so much power! I'll save the original batteries for another use!
in absolute disbelieve worked for me too!! even though I changed the battery I switched from Kirkland brand to Duracell and I have printed labels. I had exact the same situation as Dave
@Dave Pope It finally came alive for me after trying my 3rd set of brand new batteries. Thank you for the post.
I had the same problem. Replaced the batteries. Works fine. Like others have said why does it need new if not almost new batteries to print. Oh well.

I have it hooked up to a power pack and it's not printing. It just prints the sticker. ??????
so the battery thing is not working for me... there are still no letters printing on the tape and by this point now i almsot out of tape just trouble shooting the darn device.

I have this printer and when i am getting prints labels come little bit yellow to brown colored repeatedly/exactly at the same time. What could be the problem?
