There is not much information to work from in your question, Cindy, but I agree with Jayeff. Intermittent headset and earbud issues are typically caused by broken cables or broken /dirty connectors. Start your troubleshooting by trying a different headset or earbuds. If the problem is still there, it is likely a bad jack in the device. Then, using the bad headset, wiggle the cord and jack while listening to see if you can cause the problem. If you can, you will know what needs fixing. -Russ

Hi, have you tried a different headset to prove that the fault is either in the headset (especially the headset cable or plug) or the phone?
