Minor water damage to MacBook, corrosion fix

Last week, I got a little amount of water spilled on my new MacBook's screen, when I went to get a cloth, a small amount of water found his way to the back where the ventilation can be found, I cleaned it and gave it no further attention, after an hour the macbook shut down, in a pannicking state I gave the macbook some heat making it restart and work again. And it als stayed working good, after googling some stories, they said that it's possible that it does not stay working , so because the fact that it's a new computer I brought it to the apple repair, diagnosing that everything works well but that there is little corrosion damage to the logic board and to the connector with the logic board and the topcase, and if I want to repair it, it would cost me a rough 1169 euro's .The water indicators are not reached. So my question is, what advise that you would give me? I already ordered a iFixit toolkit for in the case I would need to take steps myself.

How did you give the macbook heat ? Were you using a heat gun of some type?

da

Yes three burst of 10 minute, and from a distance. I used moderate heat.

Put a drop of water on some glass and blow hard on it and see what happens. Then you will realize what you have done.

I did not blew straight Into the ventilation shaft, I put it upside down and made the computer just become warm, just like you would put it close to the heating. But probably I did not do it fast enough.

Well you need to obviously clean up the corrosion with isopropyl alcohol check both sides and clean with a toothbrush use 99% or 91% if that's all you got and let it dry by itself for an hour. If you have no result I would find a Apple motherboard repair shop to fix the board much less expensive than Apples quote.
