MacBook A1181 battery charge problem
My macbook A1181 works fine but does not charge the battery which is new.

Most likely is the magsafe board. There are 7 models in the A1181 series, please remove the battery and give us the specific machine so we can direct you to the correct part and service manual.

Do you get a light on your AC charger? Where did the battery come from? Try running the Coconut battery on the old unit also and tell us the results on both. The problem is probably one of three things, the AC charger, the MagSafe board or the Battery Connector. Try removing the battery and starting from just the AC adapter and let us know what happens.

is the new battery an after-market one? they are known to cause problems, most notably sudden shut downs. charging can also be an issue with non-apple batteries.

my battery is original one so is not the issue it is probably the magsafe board Serial # is 4H6219ZVU9B

I have 2 Macbooks same exact specs. Both have same non-apple battery. One charges without an issue and the other barely ever charges. Swapping the chargers I noticed it's not the batteries. The charger on one charged both while the other charger charges neither.
