Dell Latitude 10-ST2 Tablet - will connect to the internet via wifi intermittently. Sometimes after turning off and on again it will go online - but when the tablet goes into sleep mode or is shut down - it no longer sees any routers. The same thing happens if you attach a USB wifi adapter. I have already done a complete system recovery to factory settings.

Here are a few things that you might like to try or at least consider.
1. Here is a link to Dell's Diagnostics, which allows you to check either all of your hardware or just some of it.

2. Have you got the latest drivers installed for your system?

3.I assume that you are not running Win 10 as Dell does not support your model for Win 10 and can't guarantee that you won't have problems.

jayeff, please fill out your profile. You give very good answers and I, for one, would like to know you better ;-)
My dell latitude did the same thing. I tried every way possible that I could find in the forums to no success.
Finally I turned it on and did a manual connection using the pin number from the modem. That's all it took.
After that I went in and then change the setting to automatic and its worked ever since.
