Can the digitizer tearing cause itunes to not detect iPhone

My iphone 5c fell and the screen literally separated from the back of the device. I tried to put it back on and when I did it didn't turn on, then i tried to connected to iTunes but it could not be detected in other words nothing came up. Then i noticed that a little piece from the back of the screen was broken, I started searching for the name of that piece and found out that is called the "Digitizer" or "LCD" I'm trying to get all of my photos since i never used iCloud nor iTunes backup. So my question are: does the digitizer have anything to do with my phone not turning on? Or is there something else wrong that is causing this? And will all my data be erased? Please help by answering these questions

Usually, the digitizer will not prevent the phone being recognized by iTunes. If you can not see any type of picture on the screen, then it could be the LCD broke. A simple screen replacement should help and fix the screen and LCD issue. As far as iTunes, try a hard reset and see if that helps.

So I just need to buy an LCD, because the screen didn't cracked or anything, It just came off.

If iTunes isnt reconising it then there's no power getting to the iPhone

The drop could have also damaged the battery
