1 After phone fell screen blacked out
Phone was knocked to ground without bottom pentalobe screws in place. Phone split open however the screen didn't crack. When reassembled the screen was blacked out. Tried a few times to re-secure cables on ports however did not help. For a brief moment I got faded color on screen but it would not respond to touch. Also had screen of light grey with lines across. Now just blacked out.
What is causing this issue and what repair is needed?

had you replaced the the screen assembly before? And regardless you probably need to replace just that, the screen assembly. The lcd (specifically the flex), was probably damaged

The entire screen assembly had been replaced before. Could the lcd and flex be replaced without changing entire screen? Also, i don't remember, does the lcd flex usually come with a new screen?
