Kernel_task at 400% after water damage
I got water on my macbook air and after drying it in a bag of rice for a few days everything is working except for the fan kicks on immediately as well as the kernel_task is going anywhere from 150% to 600% of the cpu.
I've taken it apart and cleaned both sides of the motherboard, fan, ssd, airport card for any signs of corrosion. I've replaced the thermal paste. No dice.
I've heard that the airport card may cause it so I took that out completely but has the same issue. I've even reformatted the hd and started with a fresh os. Same thing.
Also reset both PMU and PRAM.
Any other ideas?
Questa è una buona domanda?
Same thing my 4 year old must have spilt water on mine I didn't see it happen nor did I even know just one day kernel task is at 300 %.. did you find any thing out?
