Logitech K270 Cleanup

    • Unplug the USB receiver from any device if you have one connected to a PC/Mac/Chromebook/Raspberry Pi, or else, you’ll be charged €50/£50/$50 for repairs.

    • Press the blow button if you have a blow dryer to blow the dirt out

    • If you don’t have a Blow dryer, use a brush to brush everything out

    • If any further dust (like this 5yr old K270), remove keys carefully to ensure they are removed

    • Do not remove the keys too hard because it is a very cheap keyboard and you could damage the keys, preventing you from putting the keys back to the frame again.

    • Clean dust in the keyboard so you can clean it properly and carefully to perfection.

    • You could remove the top keys, but it’ll be too complicated

    • Remove 8 Phillips screws that secure the under side to the base enclosure

    • Pry the keyboard and remove the back cover from the main keyboard frame

    • Remove the 2 layers of the keyboard

    • Don’t call them silly names! 🐶

    • Remove the main board (may have 2 Phillips that secure the mainboard)

    • Dip the bottom cover or the front cover in soapy water for about a few hours.

    • If it is EXTREMELY dirty, you could use UV rays to do that

    • Well done for cleaning your Logitech K270, it feels like brand new again! Plug the USB receiver back to your PC/Mac/Chromebook/Raspberry Pi and enjoy using your new keyboard!

Conclusione

To reassemble your device, reverse steps 5 - 7 (optional steps 1 - 3). Remember it could sometimes get too overcomplicated for it to be repaired.
